The greatest strategy for newcomers to baseball 9 is to take it easy and enjoy learning the ropes. Familiarity with all mechanics is not required at this time. Learn the ins and outs of batting, pitching, runner behavior, and which parts of the squad need work by watching early games. More complex judgments will become more apparent with experience.
